Buying made easy
It’s not the first time that Philip and Debra Harcourt have bought a home, and it may not be the last, but this time it happened without any dramas, thanks to Calibre Real Estate.
Philip and Debra were living with their family at North Lakes when they decided it was time to make their move.
“Our older boys are at university now and I work in the city, so the decision to move was a lifestyle choice really,” Philip explained. “We’ve got friends living in Keperra so we decided to see what we could find nearby. An internet search returned a property that appealed and it was listed with Calibre Real Estate.”
“We visited at the next open home and we liked what we saw. The property made it onto our shortlist. We went back at the next open home, liked it even more and decided to put in an offer.”
There was quite a lot of interest in the property so Calibre had multiple offers to deliver to the owner.
“Everything went really smoothly for us,” Philip added. “Calibre was open, honest and fair. They kept us up to date with everything that was going on. We never had to chase them; they were always on the phone to us. Fortunately for us, we got the home. We couldn’t be happier.”
Calibre clears the hurdles
Calibre Real Estate sold a home for me in Everton Park and I couldn’t be happier with them.
I first met Justin when I attended an open house he was hosting; I picked up his business card when I was there. When I decided to sell I gave him a call and he sent Mike to see me – he was very nice, polite and easy to talk to. It was an easy decision for me to list with Calibre Real Estate.
There can be many hurdles to jump over when selling a house but Calibre and my solicitor did everything they could to help me get over them. Together we managed to clear all the hurdles and the house sold!

“After the sale Calibre then went on to help us to find a house to buy. They asked what we wanted and they really listened because they quickly found the perfect one for us – all it took was three weekends of looking!”
“The house we bought was actually listed with another agent but Calibre stayed involved and made the purchase just as easy as the sale,” Debbie said. “They even recommended a solicitor and a building and pest inspector for us to use.”

I had a property to sell at Gaythorne and a business associate recommended I list it with Calibre Real Estate.
They came out to do the appraisal and I made the decision on the spot to go with them. I was going to talk to other agents but Calibre made a really good impression so I didn’t worry about it.
I was really happy with the way Calibre presented the property. They ran all of advertising at no cost to me, they managed the open houses, and they sold the property in about four or five weeks. It was very easy and very quick.

Calibre Real Estate started managing my investment properties around twelve months ago.
When they first took on the responsibility they inspected each property, checking for any outstanding maintenance or repairs that were needed. They also completed a rent evaluation to ensure the rental payments were in line with current market rates.
Since then, they’ve completed all property inspections on time. They advise me as soon as an issue arises or something needs my attention. They keep on top of the rental agreement expiry dates and prefer to keep tenants on fixed-term agreements rather than periodic.
I’ve found them to be very motivated. They certainly look after me and my needs very well.
