This Father’s Day, we wanted to celebrate the amazing dads, grandads, and father figures in our community — and what better way than with a fun giveaway!
We invited our Calibre community to share their DIY projects for the chance to win a $500 Bunnings voucher, and we were blown away by the creativity and heart behind the entries. From backyard builds to home improvements, it was inspiring to see the love and effort that went into every project.

Congratulations to Amy F. and her family, who took home the prize with their clever DIY sim rig project. Using old computer parts, a car seat, spare ply, and VJ boards, Amy’s dad built the kids their very own racing simulator — just like his! A creative and resourceful project that shows how much fun can come from a bit of imagination and teamwork.
