Surprise Sale in Suburban Brisbane

649d3f5bebde3c6b90ce890f527bfddab045f969 When Justin Hagen, owner of Calibre Real Estate, listed 68 Coventry Circuit Carindale on the market for sale he had to admit he did not expect the overwhelming response the property received.

The modest low set brick home was “neat and tidy in a leafy location” according to the sales agent but at the time Carindale was not perceived as a high demand suburb. After an onslaught of enquiry the first open home saw 25 prospective buyers walk through the door and 2 days later Justin Hagen of Calibre Real Estate was able to present 7 contracts to the owner.

“He was ecstatic” describes Hagen, “he was excited to have 1 offer let alone a plethora to choose from.” The owner Christopher Massey sings Calibre’s praises “Justin achieved $30,000 above my dream price…and within 4 days. Needless to say he exceeded my expectations.” The suburbs average days on the market currently sits at 72 and the sale set a record price for low-set homes in the street. Hagen attributes the success to “motivated vendors who did what needed to be done to make a great first impression, attracting buyers”. 29159b49b225093ef25765b8fd1080178f4d7d79

Which included pre-sale renovations and committing to a comprehensive marketing campaign; “with the right marketing campaign you can leverage off record low interest rates and depleted sales stock” remarks Hagen.

Massey was “grateful to have had so much guidance from the moment we considered selling right up until our furniture was loaded onto the truck. I really think the prior preparations made all the difference to the sale and to be honest we weren’t going to do this originally”.

Despite the praise Justin is “mostly just happy to see the family move on and achieve their original objectives and then some. It really is satisfying to facilitate that”.6badfd2b0e6078d8b25fb85b9b802c0a67aad186
