The Calibre Charity Golf Day 2026 is set to return this August, bringing together the local community, businesses, and golf enthusiasts for an important cause.
Hosted at Keperra Country Golf Club on Friday, 7 August 2026, this year’s event will once again proudly support the Mark Hughes Foundation in the fight against brain cancer.
Following the success of last year’s event, The Calibre Cup Charity Golf Day 2026 aims to raise further awareness and vital funding for brain cancer research through a memorable day of golf, connection, and community support.

More than just a golf tournament, the event is an opportunity to honour loved ones affected by brain cancer while helping fund critical research that provides hope to countless Australian families. Brain cancer claims more lives under 40 than any other cancer in Australia, yet receives less than 5% of government cancer research funding.
Guests will enjoy a professionally run Ambrose tournament, refreshments and drinks, great prizes, friendly competition, and the opportunity to support a meaningful cause alongside the broader Brisbane community.
One of the major highlights of the day will again be the Hole-in-One Challenge, where participants will have the chance to win $50,000 to take home, with an additional $50,000 donated towards brain cancer research. Terms and conditions apply.
Whether attending individually or as part of a team, participants are invited to enjoy a fantastic day on the course while contributing towards a cause that impacts so many Australians.
The event is also currently welcoming hole sponsors, with local businesses encouraged to get involved and support this meaningful community initiative.
