Information For Prospective Tenants

Finding a place to rent can be a stressful experience. At Calibre Real Estate we have a list of real estate rentals all over Brisbane, we work to make this process as easy and stress-free as possible. Completing your Application

To complete your application, click here we also request the following documents with your online application submission:

Two forms of Photo Identification (driver’s license, 18+ card or passport)
Two types of confirmation of your current/previous address (rates notice, car registration, tenant receipts, phone account, credit card statement or similar)
Proof of Income: this can be payslips, a group certificate, bank statements, Centrelink letter or statement from your accountant. If you have more than one source of income, please provide all details.

Processing your Tenancy Application & Moving into your New Property

If accepted, we will arrange a time and date for you to sign your General Tenancy Agreement. Upon your acceptance, you will be sent an email from our office with a copy of the tenancy agreement to read. You will also receive details on how to pay an amount equivalent to two weeks rent to secure the property; this amount must be paid within 24 hours of acceptance. These monies will be receipted as ‘part bond’ and lodged with the Residential Tenancy Authority.

Prior to collecting the keys for your new home, you will need to have completed all paperwork, paid 2 weeks rent in advance and paid the balance of your bond (normally another amount equivalent to two weeks rent).
